Meet the Unstoppable Octogenarian,  Shellie Gretah Fraddin, Ph.D., whose life purpose for the past 50 yrs has been to share her years of research, formal training and personal experiences for wellness and longevity.

Her mission is:


 -to encourage you to keep moving, walking, dancing

 -to inspire you to live everyday with passion, optimum health and purpose.

 -to realize that you hold the power to alter your longevity.

Dr. Shellie's Lifestyle and Philosophy

Dr. Shellie celebrated her 82nd birthday on June 14, 2021 and is the epitome of what all mothers and grandmas strive to be:


A healthy, spirited, physically/mentally fit woman, follows her own advice and is truly aging gracefully. Dr. Shellie lives a very healthy lifestyle, engaging her body, mind and spirit regularly in everything she does.

Dr. Shellie practices what she preaches. 
 
Dr. Shellie honors and follows her intuition, follows her heart and celebrates the good in people. 


Dr. Shellie has
NO major health issues; Has NEVER had major surgery and affirms she will continue on this path for the rest of her long, long life.

You can learn from her experience, wisdom and expertise in the field of healthy aging, from the inside out by attending her classes/workshops and by engaging her as your Health Coach and mentor. 


Dr. Shellie anticipates she will be the first Centenarian in her family, whose photo will be posted on the Smucker's jelly jar. (a tradition celebrating centenarians) 


Physical Activity
Dr. Shellie exercises 3-5x/week: either riding her bike, swimming, dancing, power walks, hikes and  exercise classes online or at the gym.

Foods
A huge percentage of Dr. Shellie nutritional choices are organic foods and fluoride-free water.
She loves to experiment with new recipes and prepares fresh salads, juices, smoothies and/or ethnic foods .


Mental Habits
Being a lifelong learner, Dr. Shelllie is  a frequent participant in personal/ professional training and development programs, reads non-fiction, enjoys   the history, Animal Planet and Nat'l Geographic channel.....always learning.

One of her Favorite Personal Development Programs
is Landmark Education. She began her training in 1980, beginning with The Forum and following up with many additional programs during the last 40 years. She has  volunteered as a Coach many times in Landmark's Self-Expression and Leadership Program to successfully support participants to achieve their goals. .

​Landmark Worldwide is a personal development company, offering programs for people 8-108 yrs old, to bring about positive and permanent shifts in their quality of life, bringing about a unique kind of freedom and power.

raduating from Queens College, NY in 1956, Shellie continued her studies at NYU and La Salle University, Mandeville, LA over the past 40 yrs. and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1994 with a Ph.D. in Natural Health Sciences/Holistic Health..

Lifestyle habits such as physical activity, quality of the food we eat, the water we drink, the air we breathe, the friends we have, the job we do in the world, affects our health on every level, body, mind and spirit.

Let's peek into the kind of activities she encourages older adults to do:

Do any physical activity that you love, run, walk, hike, yoga,
 bicycle, dance, chair exercises, cooking classes, laugh every day, spend time with people who love you, surround yourself with upbeat friends and family, follow a spiritual path, play, rest and work at a job you love and work in a healthy environment.

Dr. Shellie works with individuals and groups, in person, online or on the telephone, providing wellness seminars, workshops, Laughter Yoga sessions and Dance Fitness Classes. She has designed Chair Dance classes for those with physical/neurological limitations. 

If you want to reduce the stress in your life and increase joy and inner peace, change your thinking and it will change your life.  If you can't move away from a negative situation, then change your attitude about it.
She teaches her clients to take charge of their wellbeing by changing habits that no longer serve them.


Dr. Shellie's promise to you is that she will provide necessary tools and motivation to help you to help yourself, to strengthen your body, mind and spirit to age gracefully, from the inside out.

Dr Shellie's training and style is holistic, utilizing body, mind and spiritual modalities to help you maintain a more meaningful, passionate quality of life.

Dr. Shellie currently lives in Ellenville, NY and travels throughout the USA to present  workshops and classes.
